We’re very excited to announce that our brand new Living Well Apartments are now complete and we welcome you to pop in and take a look through our show homes.
We have 21 brand new apartments open for viewing and we encourage you to come in, take a look around and have a coffee on us in our popular Café on Caledonian. Village Manager Symone Bruhns would love the opportunity to welcome you and have a chat about your specific needs. It will also be a great chance for you to learn about our vision for the future of retirement living as part of Arvida, a national group of retirement communities.
At St Albans we’re immensely proud of our reputation for providing the very best personal care and support for our residents. Our Sales Manager Vena Connell is passionate about our community and would love the chance to personally show you around. You’ll be able to meet a few of our friendly residents, have some morning tea and a coffee while you look through our sunny, spacious apartments.
We’re centrally located in St Albans, close to Merivale and Shirley making it handy for relatives and friends working in the city centre to pop in and visit. The neighbourhood around St Albans is well serviced by medical professionals, churches, bowling clubs and parks, and a bus stop is located just 50 meters away on Colombo Street.
Life at St Albans
You’ll be able to retain and enjoy your lifestyle and independence here at St Albans. We’re a friendly and inclusive boutique community set amongst beautiful gardens with spacious outdoor living areas. Every day offers the opportunity to participate in a diverse range of activities, sharing good times with newly-made friends within the village.
Our friendly, social community is like one big family. Our new on-site ‘Café on Caledonian’ serves barista-made coffee and delicious home-cooked meals. We love the aroma of fresh baking every morning, and the cafe and social areas are always popular places to meet for that morning coffee and a natter with mates.
We also offer daily activities, events and trips for those who love to socialise and do a little shopping. These activities change periodically and we’re always keen to listen and add new trips to the calendar! Another service we’re able to provide includes our on-site hair and beauty salon, which is very popular.

2. How are my rights protected?
Our Statutory Supervisor Covenant Trustee Services is appointed for the sole purpose of protecting resident rights.
3. Are there care packages available for the serviced apartments and studios?
At St Albans we tailor care packages to suit individual needs. Our studios and apartments are all certified to provide rest home care if required. Some residents are eligible to receive subsidised rest home care, and we can help you with this.

5. What happens to the apartment when I leave?
Once purchased, you own the unit until it is relicenced again by another applicant. Care fees cease on date of leaving the unit and the weekly fees stop once you have removed all your belongs and terminated the ORA.
6. What happens if my needs change and I need a greater level of care?
Existing residents receive priority to move to a different area of the facility. This is however dependent on availability of rooms. Naturally you may have other questions, so feel free to contact us any time to discuss your individual needs.
