Independent living and rest home level care
Our community is like one big family. Each individual resident is respected, looked after and helped to feel truly at home. The aroma of home-cooked meals and fresh baking every morning is enjoyed by everyone and our popular daily activities include social events, picnics and outings in the van, as well as trips to town for those who enjoy doing a little shopping. As an Arvida village, we take care to listen and help residents to continue to enjoy the things they love to do, and to lead us with their routine timetables.

Life at Wendover
We run a varied activities programme designed to suit the capabilities and interests of our residents. Participation is always voluntary, though we do encourage socialising, mental and physical stimulation and we nurture a general sense of vitality. Communication is encouraged and stimulated through outside activities, and helps to build confidence and independence.
Our regular activities include crafts (painting, flower arranging, card making), musical entertainment, housie, large screen ‘old time’ movies, exercises, games & quizzes, newspaper readings, theme days, happy hour, trips (twice weekly), sightseeing and shopping.
