Village Green and Fairy House opening at Lauriston Park

Arvida Lauriston Park retirement community in Cambridge celebrated the grand opening of two new features - a Village Green and the resident-led Fairy House.

The new Village Green, officially opened by Waipā District Mayor Mike Pettit, is a versatile space designed for croquet, bowling, and putting, quickly becoming a hub for outdoor activities and social gatherings. The thoughtfully designed area encourages residents to get outdoors, stay active, and spend time together in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

“We're so proud to have these new additions in our community. They will create more opportunities for connection and enjoyment for residents,” says Village Manager Tanya Lindsay.
