We want to let you know about an important project we're working through called the Holidays Act Remediation Project.

To comply with the Holidays Act 2003 in New Zealand, a number of businesses have had to revisit and review holiday pay calculations.

Holidays Act Remediation Project

This project will involve a thorough review of how our payroll system is configured and how it has calculated historical entitlements for our permanent staff and, if necessary, make corrections. Basically, it’s about making things right, if and where we find we need to, so that everyone gets their correct entitlements. It will help us ensure Arvida is compliant with the Holidays Act.

As we work through this complex process with an independent specialist and a Labour Inspector from MBIE, we’ll establish how many of our current and former team members are impacted and what they are entitled to. Entitlements will vary depending on individual circumstances and it is important to be clear that some current and former employees may not have been impacted at all.
