Whai Mauri Ora | In Pursuit of Wellbeing is now open and growing, with development continuing in carefully planned stages. Once complete, the community will feature around 180 villas, a purpose-built care centre with care suites, and exceptional shared spaces for entertainment, fitness, and social connection.

Our specialised aged care centre will embody Arvida’s Attitude of Living Well philosophy, a resident-led approach that supports each person to live their best life. The community’s design maximises open space and offers beautiful views towards Mt Pirongia and Mt Kakepuku.

The site for Whai Mauri Ora was blessed by Ngāti Apakura elders before work commenced. The elders placed a Mauri stone during a ceremony that is reserved only for buildings of significance. The name Whai Mauri Ora, gifted to us by Ngāti Apakura, means ‘in pursuit of wellbeing’. It ties perfectly to our Attitude of Living Well philosophy, which focuses on every aspect of good health and wellbeing.
