Accommodation options
Living Well apartments
77-80 sqm plus outdoor areaLiving Well apartments are a new Arvida concept for reimagined retirement village living. These new two-bedroom apartments enhance your independent lifestyle with the benefits of living in a supportive environment.
The weekly fee includes three meals a week (lunch or dinner), a half-hour weekly house clean, and use of our electric vehicles. All apartments have two bedrooms (one with a walk-in wardrobe), an ensuite bathroom, extra toilet, full kitchen, and lovely open-plan living area. Each apartment has a private patio or balcony, and all appliances are included.
Facilities & activities
St Albans is a smaller Arvida community with facilities and activities that focus on resident choices and wellbeing. Our central Christchurch location enables us to make the most of wonderful parks, galleries, shopping, and local experiences close by. Residents in the Totara Living Well apartments have free use of three electric vehicles for heading out and about.

A community hub for catching up with friends and enjoying a treat.
Many of our newer communities have an on-site café. We encourage interested residents to get involved and help the café operators.
Electric vehicles
Enjoy the convenience of a shared fleet of easy-to-drive electric vehicles.
Arvida’s Park Lane and St Albans communities in Christchurch have electric vehicles available for residents’ use. You don’t have to pay any extra and the cars are very easy to drive. If you choose to live in one of these communities, you may not need your own car.

Our on-site hairdressing, barber and beauty care services are convenient and affordable.
Many Arvida communities have a hair and beauty salon that looks after both ladies and gents. Our stylists are talented and friendly, so you’ll look forward to your regular appointment.

Cafe on Caledonian
9am – 2.30pm
Café on Caledonian is our very own café, which is enjoyed by residents, families, and people who live and work in the local neighbourhood. The café serves excellent barista-made coffee, delightful sweet treats and hearty lunches.
You are welcome to pop in anytime, the cafe is open 9am - 2.30pm, Monday - Friday.
Please note, we are closed on public holidays.
