Van outings and shopping trips include regular visits to Richmond shopping centre and Richmond Mall, just down the road.

Other amenities within walking distance include the Richmond A & P Showgrounds, racecourse, croquet club, bowling club, bridge club, RSA and Probus.
Lower Queen Street Health Centre is right next door with Oakwoods soon to be offering pedestrian/golf cart access for Oakwoods residents. The centre includes Vanilla Bean Café, Med Lab, Fry’s Pharmacy, Triton Hearing Clinic, Tasman Medical Centre and the Tasman Dental Centre.

Well-planned and easy to live in, Oakwoods’ 15 studio apartments come with daily and weekly support services that allow you to maintain a level of independence for longer. Located on the ground floor and upstairs, all studios have a kitchenette, patio and garden area. If your needs change in the future, the support you receive can be adjusted.
Care at Oakwoods
Oakwoods’ purpose-built rest home and hospital provides 24-hour residential aged care in spacious individual rooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. The very best of care is provided by Oakwoods’ caring and qualified team.
Bookable on request, this lovely sunny room has its own kitchenette and a sliding door opening to a private courtyard. Respite residents are invited to take part in the many activities Oakwoods’ residents enjoy.
