An increase in villa and apartment residents, as well as the development of the care centre, has meant the need to expand the widely used Meridian Centre.

The new spaces either side of the existing centre include a new snooker room, larger activity and dancefloor area, new resident-run bar and additional decking areas for social get-togethers.

Arvida Copper CrestVillage Manager, Rachel Liddel says it was excellent to see new purpose-built spaces after successful resident consultation and resident committee involvement.

“It’s been a really collaborative process between our development team and the residents. The community centre extensions reflect what the residents wanted.”
